And this happened because my webmaster goofed. He set the wrong launching date on my product’s site.

She’s curious about my Stumble Upon strategy.

I’m very skilled in getting web traffic through many means, but I’m trying to learn about StumbleUpon, which it sounds like you’re having great success with.

So I gave her 7 hints to explode her Stumble Upon traffic, and I may as well share here, too.

1. Never stumble your own content, whether it’s blog post or article since it’s not allowed under Stumble Upon terms of service.
2. Never stumble opt-in pages or sale pages… stumblers tend to give thumb down for those pages and it’ll end up hurt your traffic.
3. Add friends in SU, preferable the top stumblers. Your goal is to have 200 reciprocated friends (200 is the maximum friends allowed in SU). But no worry, you can always delete your friends.
4. Submit to correct topic with the correct tags (SU only uses up to 4 tags, the category will become a tag as well). You must experiment to find which topic gives you the best result.
5. Add comments/reviews when stumbling.
6. Exchange stumbles with others.
7. You can always buy SU sponsorship. Yes, just by $20 you can bribe your way in into SU. Meaning your site will shown in SU home page.
   If you’re short on spare cash, you can request other stumblers to sponsor you.

One of my friends, Bryan, used my Stumble Upon traffic strategy and got huge traffic result!

By default, these are the common errors and their corresponding messages:

• 400 Bad Request: Invalid request.
  The default page that handles this error is name 400.shtml.
• 401 Authorization required: Invalid login credentials?
  The default page that handles this error is name 401.shtml.This happens when someone try to access a password protected page or folder but he doesn’t input the correct username or password.
• 403 Permission Denied: You do not have permission for this request.
  The default page that handles this error is name 403.shtml.This happens when you set the wrong permission for your pages or folders. For example you use CHMOD 644 when you should use CHMOD 755.
• 404 Not Found: The requested URL does not exist.
  The default page that handles this error is name 404.shtml.This is the most common error. Mostly happens because your visitor types the wrong URL or made a typo.
• 500 Server Error: A misconfiguration on the server caused a hiccup. Check the server logs, fix the problem then try again.
  The default page that handles this error is name 500.shtml.This can happen due to a wrong htaccess configuration or bugs in the program scripts (such as Wordpress plugins).

Any of these errors may happen and you’re just not aware of it… but you can make money with these error pages instead of losing prospects!

Here’s how: customize your default error pages into money making pages. For example:

• Redirect it into your other site.

If you don’t know how to do it, here’s a simple guide to do it.

Change the content of each page that handles this particular error, namely 400.shtml, 401.shtml, 403.shtml, 404.shtml, and 500.shtml.

• If your web hosting has cpanel, you’re in luck. You can easily accomplish this by going to “Error pages” in your cpanel.
