Free Organic Traffic – Blog Commenting

Yesterday I wrote the overview of Top 10 Organic Traffic Generation – How To Get FREE Traffic. There are all 10 organic traffic generation methods. I will review them based on my experience these months and share them to you for FREE, one method each day in the next 10 days.

Today I’ll review Free Organic Traffic – Blog Commenting. Let’s start with how I get started with participating in active and relevant blogs, i.e. blog commenting. Shall we?

The first thing you need to do is finding the active and relevant blogs. You can do keyword searches to find active relevant blogs from these authority sites:

  • Technorati
In Technorati you can do tag search and directory search in addition to keyword search! :) If you only want to search blog posts, try search.technorati.com.
    Technorati blog search
  • Google Blog Search
Google Blog Search offers more than keyword searches. You can search for blog posts, blog titles and authors as well.
    Google Blog Search
  • Blog Catalog
Blog Catalog is a blog community that also offers nice features. You can search in blog directory, tags, blog posts and blog posts tags.
    Blog Catalog
  • BUMPzee!
BUMPzee, a blog community and directory for Internet marketers, allows you to search in comments, blogs, discussion, and comments. It’s good because you’ll get more relevant results this way.
    BUMPzee!

Now that you’ve found your active and relevant blogs, you must post your comments there. Remember this cardinal rule: “Thou shall not comment spam.”

Here are a few useful tricks that I learned in blog commenting:

  • I found that controversial blogs are very nice to give comments to. Especially if my opinion is against them :) Wow, the readers there followed my link to my blog. And I got traffic!
  • I tried to find active and relevant blogs with PR3 or above. It’s much better if those blogs are DoFollow compliant! They’ll give you their Google’s juice.

That’s it for today folks. I hope this review is useful for you.

We’ll talk about participating in active and relevant forums tomorrow. Stay tune!

Update: My friend told me that she got $1,500 in two weeks using this automated blog posting software. I personally haven’t use it so I can’t give you a review.

P.S. You can start generating your organic traffic by commenting this post. Bright Beginning! is PR3 and DoFollow compliant :)

    Aldian,

    Thanks for this Great post.

May I ask how blog posting and commenting has worked for you in terms of traffic?

Do you do this (or have to do this) every day?

Does the traffic stop when you stop commenting?

    Thanks!

    Hi Shafir,

    Thanks for dropping by.

Blog posting brings me steady traffic even when I stop posting for about 3-4 weeks (it actually happened when I was busy moving to new home and did all Forced Pierce Income Program).

However I don’t suggest you to do this unless you’re in emergency. People expect you to give quality information regularly.

I’m doing another experiment now: blog posting in series for full 10 days :) I’ll post the result once it’s done.

It’s different case with blog commenting. Once I stop blog commenting, the traffic stops. It was an interesting experiment though: controversial blogs brought me more traffic especially when my opinions were against them :)
