MySpace Comment - MySpace Banner - Free Traffic is the third review of the Top 10 Organic Traffic Generation - How To Get FREE Traffic series.
I have touched MySpace free traffic generation strategy at this post. I will stress on these steps that you need to do:
- Create your MySpace account, and make sure you read and understand its TOS.
- Create your MySpace profile as well as your MySpace banner.
Make your profile a bit personal but not too personal. Then add your link in your MySpace banner.

- Adding new friends.
In MySpace, friends are people who’ve accepted your friend request. You have as many friends as possible by you diligently requesting new friends as many as possible daily. It takes time to do it manually so I cheated and used MySpace bot, and I have 1,822 friends in no time
- Posting comments in your friends’ space
Make sure that your comment is personal and genuine. Also remember to sign it with your link. - Accepting friend requests
After you have many friends, people will also request you to be their friends. It’s very good, isn’t it? The more friends you have, the more people who will request you to be their friends.
You definitely want to accept their friend requests. - Posting MySpace bulletin
Another great way to get free traffic in MySpace is to use bulletins. Bulletins work very well because all of your friends will see your bulletin in their list of current bulletins on their home page. You must write creatively with compelling subject lines for your bulletins to be successful. The better your subject line is, the more of your friends click your bulletins. - Repeat step 3 - 6.
I got a lot of free traffic from MySpace using MySpace comment and MySpace banner. But it’s random and not targeted traffic. I believe MySpace free traffic works well for general topic and not specific niche, such as making money while surfing the web using Agloco.

Welcome to Bright Beginning!, Carol.
You must try MySpace. I got a lot of traffic from MySpace… random traffic that is
I love the information of Spicy Page on your blog. I wonder how do you find Spicy Page’s traffic?
Comment by Carol King on 30 June 2007:
Hi Aldian
As far as social sites goes, I get the most traffic from MyBlogLog. Second is SpicyPage. I also get a great deal of rss readers from Facebook.
You said you get a lot or random traffic from MySpace, how useful is that in terms of sales or sign-ups.
Comment by Aldian on 1 July 2007:
Hi Carol,
Wow great! Blog Catalog is my first social sites traffic generator.
MySpace didn’t give sign-up and sales for self-help niche. I haven’t tried it for other niches yet.
I found a very interesting fact based on my experience that no same single free traffic generation strategy works every niches. For example Digg is better for technology stuffs than self-help. Something similar like that.
Do you have the same experience?
Comment by Carol King on 3 July 2007:
Yep I would definely agree. A great deal of testing and tracking must be done to determin what works and what does not.
By the way I am posting a review of your blog today, if you get a chance stop by and have a look. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the review Carold. I really like and appreciate it.
I’m conducting another test and will review it once it’s done. It’s still about free traffic generation.

I miss the days when the friend requester could request 1000 friends a day with no captcha, then post about 500 bullitens with no captcha, those were the good days of myspace and promoting your site/business

Fetching traffic for sites and blogs is the basic goal for all internet marketers. I think converting all that traffic into successful sale is another task which also needs a lot of attention. Although I have used a lot of traffic resources but these social media sites are not less than a magic.
