PayPal Breaking News - Blocked Countries Now Can Withdraw Money

PayPal breaking news! Blocked countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Phillipines, etc) can now withdraw money from their PayPal account :)

Yes, you can withdraw money into your credit card that’s listed in PayPal. There’s a US $5 fee, but it’s still much cheaper than US $30 wire transfer fee, or $10 check deposit fee, isn’t it? Oh, it’s daily withdrawal limit is $500 by the way.

How to check if your PayPal account can withdraw money?

  1. Login into your PayPal account.
  2. Click on the “Withdrawal” tab.
  3. If there’s an option to withdraw your funds, that means you can withdraw from your PayPal account.

How to check if your country can withdraw money?

  1. Go to PayPal.com.
  2. Click on the “PayPal Worldwide” link.
  3. Find your country in the pull down menu and see if there’s a withdraw option.

That’s great, isn’t it? Our Internet business can now expand much easier! So start by opening your PayPal account!

I heard of this awesome news when I was in UYMG. I hardly believe it!! Somehow, GREAT news to Indonesian and Malaysian. I love paypal. Hohoho3x.. :p

    So, quick question:
    * Do I need to open another new paypal account (using Indonesia address) ? — Currently I have paypal account using US address (USA2ME.com)

    * Anyone has tried withdraw money from their paypal to their bank account? If so, what card of the bank are you using? Please share more about this.

    Thank you much for attention.

Wow, that’s really a good news! I tried logging in to my PayPal account which I created 2 months ago (BIG grin), and yes it’s there - Philippines is now allowed to receive payments using PayPal, but something wrong with my account - it says there in my status: “Philippine - Unverified”, lol I forgot to add my credit card number in to my PayPal account. hehe. I’m still having thoughts where to apply - which do you think is better - VISA, MasterCard, Discover or American Express?

    Thank you. (**)

    Hi Cornel,

You can try asking PayPal customer support to change your country from USA to Indonesia, that way you may not need to open another account.

    Hi Mitchell,

In order to use this new feature, you must have your PayPal account verified.

Simply add your credit card information into your account, then verify the two small amount that PayPal charges to your credit card.

Based on what I read, only Visa and MasterCard are accepted :)
