Top 10 Organic Traffic Generation - How To Get FREE Traffic
In March 2007, in Unleash Your Marketing Genius (UYMG) Singapore, I joined Stephen Pierce’s Forced Incomed Protege Program which is a life-time program and cost me $10,000.
In this program I was taught organic traffic generations to promote OptiMINDzation Attraction Accelerator. There are all 10 organic traffic generation methods. I will review them based on my experience these months and share them to you for FREE, one method each day in the next 10 days.
Now, how do I know which methods give me traffic and how many? Simple. I use Google Analytics. It’s a free service by Google to help you learn more about where your visitors come from and how they interact with your site. I really urge you to use Google Analytics to analyze your traffics if you haven’t used it yet.
Enough with that stuff. Now let’s continue to the organic traffic generation methods, shall we?
- Participate in active and relevant blogs.
- Participate in active and relevant forums.
- Participate in active and relevant MySpace pages.
- Use StumbleUpon.
- Participate in active and relevant Netscape’s stories and discussions.
- Participate in active and relevant YouTube and Video.Google.com’s videos.
- Write relevant articles and submit them to article directories.
- Social bookmark your sites.
- Use free classified ads.
- Participate in banner exchange programs.
I will review each traffic generation method each day in the next 10 days. So make sure you’ll get it by subscribing to Bright Beginning! and coming again tomorrow!

A nice list here. I would like to elaborate on articles. Many write articles and submit them to directories and might also place them on their sites. The problem here is the duplicate content filter penalty. One way I get around this is to use Content Spinner, a free and paid service. What I do is use the free service to spin my articles and manually submit each varied article as I go along. The paid version does this for you but I have not signed up for that yet. Remember content is KING and duplicate content is poor seo practices. I hope this helps.

Thanks for your insight Terry. True, you can get penalty for duplicate content. I use Content Spooler to make variant of my articles.

Good suggestions. My server once crashed by stumbleupon traffic.
Did you forget Digg?, I think its the best source of free traffic.

Wow! SU really brings huge traffic.
I didn’t get much traffic from Digg.
If it’s not specifically scientific article like nuclear and atom, the crowds over there don’t really care.

Good list, although I am not too keen of 9 and 10, and might just replace it with press release submission.
Overall, it is a great list and constantly practicing them is going to benefit in long run.
Comment by JH on 19 June 2008:
SU and digg are great. But seems like there are particular articles type will be more popular. and that is the most difficult part.
