How To Unleash Your Greatness
It’s been almost a month since I started to write again because I’ve been putting off and waiting for everything to be perfect, in addition to the fact that my laptop crashed where I lost many of my data and I had to start over. (Do yourself a favour and follow these steps to prevent accidents like mine.)
Then one of my mentors taught me, “You don’t need to get it right in life, you just need to get going.” You don’t need to get it right, you just need to get it going. So I get going and continuing my projects including this blog.
This blog may not be my best project or one of the best blogs. Yet. But definitely it will. You must realize that some of your greatest moments come out of the mistakes that you make. You did something, tested it and adjusted for better results.
I must admit that I’m a perfectionist and I feel upset and depressed when something doesn’t work to my expectation. However I do better now because of this quote by Stephen Pierce, “You need to give yourself permission to fail or make mistakes, as welll as give yourself permission to succeed. … winning is a process of having winners and losers. Teams that win championships didn’t win every game during the whole season. They won the games that mattered most.”
I also changed my mindset and attitude when I face something that I don’t want to do. I think of the benefits of doing it, how it move my life and business forward. I focus on the rewards. The people that succeed don’t focus on the process. They focus on the rewards. You must not focus on the process. You must focus on the rewards.
In order to keep you motivated, you must get around like-minded people and action-minded people, and get yourself a mentor who can push you over the limit.

yeah, i agree,
we don’t need to get it rite (all the time).
Too many a times, we get stuck at the planning stage.
Sometimes, business is about starting something and fine-tuning it as we go along.
I’m fortunate to have met many people who have their own successful businesses, so i’m tapping on their mindset.

I think you’ve got the point. This reminds me not to be pefectionist as this will kill us from moving toward our goal. Keep going Aldian, you will succeed.
Lets make a better life for all of us!

Yes Tofu and Lian,
In business we must start something and minimize its risk by starting small. Then always test and adjust for better result.
